About

Why we built Standin

Standin started from a real problem, not a business plan. Running a service business on your own means the phone rings while your hands are full, a lead waits for a reply that comes too late, and half your client notes live in a notebook. No CRM was built for that.

The problem

Every CRM on the market is designed for sales teams tracking deals. A tradesperson doesn't run a sales funnel: they run job sites, cases, appointments. So the tool never quite fits, and the parts that matter get lost between a generic notes field and a paper pad. Meanwhile the calls and messages you miss go straight to the next name on the client's list.

What Standin does

You answer a few questions about your work, or paste your website link, and Standin builds a client tracker shaped around your exact trade: your stages, your fields, your words. Then, while you work, an AI copilot reads your messages, replies in your voice and keeps each file up to date. Nothing is sent without your approval.

Who's behind it

Ariel ChellyFounder & developer

Standin is built by Ariel Chelly, a web and mobile developer and code teacher based in Netanya. He builds products end to end, from the first sketch to launch, and cares about software that stays genuinely simple for the people who use it. He made Standin so that someone running a service business alone gets a tool that fits their trade, not the other way around.

How we know it works

The trade examples across this site are real results from our own generator, not mock-ups. There's no hidden library of industries: the structure comes from what you describe. We build in the open and improve it week by week.
